Every year, the Nuzum's celebrate Oktoberfest at their creek house in Edisto. The year before we left for France, we were invited to attend and had a wonderful time, so when we were included again this year, we were thrilled! Kathleen couldn't join us because of her dance commitments, but the rest of the Walls headed out with Claire and Sarah Rodgers for a wonderful day of friendship, food and games! Their Oktoberfest tradition includes German music, beer, sauerkraut, wurst and a series of games for the kids. The games range from a bean bag throw to shooting targets with a bb gun to a woodcutting contest. The finale of the games is a fun-on run that only a brave few competed in, but was lots of fun to watch! The Walls are already looking forward to next October!
