Walls in Charleston: Fall leaves

Thanks to my grandfather, my parents have a timeshare condo in the North Carolina mountains for a week every October. The place is located near Lake Lure, a beautiful spot made up of quaint settings and beautiful views. We were lucky enough to head up there for a few days to see the fabulous fall foliage. Tutu and I left on Wednesday morning at were joined that evening by Laura and Chuck who drove up from Greenville. We had a lovely visit including a few great meals and a couple of stops into local thrift shops and then they had to head home. On Friday, Bucky, Lucie and Bubba drove up from Charleston for the weekend. (Kathleen again had to miss out because of her dance commitment, but she did not suffer...she spent the weekend with Auntie Kay Kay and was spoiled rotten!) Meanwhile, we tooled around the North Carolina mountains, oohing and ahhing at the scenery and enjoyed our mini vacation in such a special locale!
