Eating well

Charleston is a popular place to visit for many reasons...the friendly people, the beautiful buildings, the history, the beaches and the golf are some of the draws.  Some people come solely to eat.  Charleston is known for its cuisine and are happy to partake in the culinary delights that abound in this southern locale.  Bucky's favorite place for a burger and a beer is Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island.  It is definitely a relaxed place where you seat yourself and eat most of the food with your hands instead of utensils.  Bucky swears that the burgers are to die for, and becuase I am not a meat-eater, I take his word for it. 

We enjoyed lunch at Poe's the other day.  It was pleasant enough to even sit outside which we did while we enjoyed our meals and the obligatory cold beer (or two).  I feel sure that we will be back soon for another burger fix for Bucky.
